CAD Basics
This instructor-led CAD Basics class runs over three consecutive Thursday nights, 6- 9pm and is designed for people who want to create real sheet-metal parts for their own projects.
Whether you’re working in a home garage, setting up a shed workshop, or just want to get your ideas out of your head and into usable files, this course focuses on practical, hands-on CAD skills and the steps needed to get it from a sketch on paper to something that can be sent of to be manufactured.
You’ll learn the fundamentals of CAD with a strong emphasis on sheet-metal design, including best practices for parts that will actually fold, fit, and manufacture correctly.
During the course, students put their skills to the test by having their own designs cut, giving real-world feedback and confidence that your files are production-ready.
